This Morning Call – “Organs of the State”

I covered my hands in flour,

And I tried to bake a cake,

To feed the pigs who snuffle and shuffle their way,

Through suppertime.

And I was caught out gazing,

At the pretty boy next door.

And in a jealous rage I flung myself from my rooftop.

I’ve seen it all before,

I’ve seen it all before.

Now I’m lost but I was hoping to found by sunrise.

She covers herself in oil

And sets fire to her legs.

I thought it was a show but it turned up on the news,

And now she’s toast.

I covered my hands in flour,

synchronising the animation of the “skin & match” composition by adjusting the position of the keyframes according to the changes taking place in the music by each instrument.

working with the clouds footage (time-lapse) in Final Cut Pro 

• working on the colour of the footage (colour correction) 
• working on the kaleidoscopic effect 
• setting the key frames and settings so that the effect changes according to the music 
• working on the way it connects to the rest of the footage so that the video has a flow.

the PIGS UnitX 1st try in Adobe Premiere Pro 

This is as far as I could work on Premiere and After Effects, without using Final Cut Pro  too much because I did not had the skill required to create the body of work I intended to create

(Final cut pro has this really use full kaleidoscopic effects that can be nearly completely manipulated. Really useful tool need to work on/with it more...)

working on the transition and on getting the composition to fit properly in the resolution that I am working with 

working on transitions (fades) based on the kaleidoscopic forms of my digital composition. Transitions clips of kaleidoscopic effects were created in Final Cut Pro and then edited in Adobe Premiere Pro

I then had to animate the final composition in After Effects by:

• rotating
• scaling 
• moving 
• opacity settings
